Michael Park in "How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying"

Michael Park (ATWT's Detective Jack Snyder) is headed back to Broadway!  Having been a part of the original casts of Smokey Joe's Cafe in 1995 and Little Me in 1998, Michael is joining the 50th anniversary revival cast of the 1961 musical How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying.  Michael will be playing the role of Bert Bratt.  The show also stars John Larroquette and Daniel Radcliffe, who you may have heard of from a small movie franchise called Harry Potter.  Previews begin on February 25 and the show officially opens on March 27 at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre in New York City.  Click here for more information and to order tickets.

Update: Tammy Blanchard, who played the role of  Drew Jacobs on Guiding Light, also appears in the show.

  1. I went to the Saturday matinee of "How to Succeed in Business...." I'd gotten the tickets before I knew Michael Park was in it (I'm a big Harry Potter fan and LOVE John Larroquette, who stars in it with Daniel Radcliffe). What a treat to see Michael on stage and in a pretty hefty role. He gets a solo in the somewhat racy song, "A Secretary's Not a Toy," and the comic timing was perfect! (Not to mention how great it sounds when he sings--what a voice!) He does a bit of dancing in some of the full company numbers, and has a lot of stage time with both Radcliffe and Larroquette. He was fantastic! My DH was with me and of course had seen snatches of his work on ATWT, but hadn't appreciated the breadth of his talent and was SO impressed. The house was packed and I'm sure as long as Radcliffe is in it (though he's not nearly the strongest performer in the show), that trend will continue. I'm so happy for Michael and hope this good fortune continues; I'd love to see him become one of those big Broadway names! We can say we rooted for him all along.
